Reduce your usage, save $ and join the clean energy movement!
The cheapest energy is the energy you don’t use, and cutting back is easier than you might think. The Jonah Center has partnered with the City of Middletown on a Community Partnership Initiative with Eversource, the sponsor of Energize ConnecticutSM.
Here’s where the Jonah Center Community can help! Sign up for this program, repost, share, and talk to your neighbors about Home Energy Solutions Assessments.

About the Program
These programs are funded in part by the Public Benefit charge in our energy bills. So, it makes sense to take advantage of the program offerings! The benefit to participants translates to annual savings.
More about the costs and real potential savings.
The assessment and service will be completed at NO COST to all Middletown residents who schedule by March 31, 2026 and complete the assessment by April 30, 2026. NOW is the time to sign up!
After that date, there may be a small co-pay, but residents who qualify for the Home Energy Solutions – Income Eligible program will continue to get the initial assessment and service at no cost.
On average, participants receive $1,000 in services and products and save $70-$100 per year on their energy bills, and additional upgrades can lead to even more savings

- Recommendations on more ways to save energy, like adding insulation, which may be covered up to 75% or up to 100% if you qualify for the Home Energy Solutions – Income Eligible program.
- A completed assessment also qualifies you for rebates and incentives from the Sponsors of Energize CT for upgrades like air sealing, insulation, and high-efficiency heating systems.
