When: Saturday, November 15th at 10AM!
Meeting Location: Navigate to the Middletown Recycling Center. Drive past the Recycling Center and park in the lot just past the CrossFit gym.

Our mission: Clean-up around the Phil Salafia Canoe & Kayak Launch and neighboring landfill trail (home of the future “Midden Trail”)!
Our goal is to clean up the litter that has accumulated in the parking lot area of the kayak launch as well as litter that lines the bottom of the landfill trail. We will also be cleaning up some loose netting along the edges of the landfill trail, as it poses a danger to wildlife. The trail is only about 0.1 miles and has a steady but gradual incline; If you venture to the top, you’ll be rewarded with a nice panoramic view!
As always, be prepared: We recommend boots, long pants/sleeves, and work gloves.
We will provide “nifty nabbers” to help grab trash on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have nifty nabbers of your own, please bring them. We will provide the trash bags.
