Deadlines for incentives are approaching but they aren’t here just yet.

Helpful, trusted organizations have published resources and instructions for consumers. We’ve picked a few to share in a format that we hope will be helpful to our community.
This is a “blowout sale” ad presented in an informative podcast. This is an excellent way to learn from climate scientists who are having a real conversation about clean technology solutions and incentives without jargon. It’s also a fun way to learn while you are making dinner, cleaning, or doing yardwork!
For each Clean Tech solution listed below, we’ve curated summaries with incentive deadlines and links to reliable resources. Reminder: We all have friends and neighbors who have taken advantage of these programs and incentives. Chat with them about their experience and take your own action!
1.) Insulation, Windows, Heat Pumps, and doors.
The cheapest energy is the energy you don’t use! Start with a Home Energy Solutions assessment to stop literally throwing money out the window. During your assessment, some minor improvements may be made. You’ll get access to more rebates and incentives. Then, you decide on changes that make the most sense for your home, budget, and situation.

2.) Electric Vehicles (EVs)
Even with high electricity prices, it’s still cheaper to fuel and run an EV.
Benefits include:

>No stopping at smelly gas stations
>Virtually no maintenance

3.) Solar Panels and Battery Storage
Solar helps lock in fixed energy rates, protecting you from utility hikes and making your energy bills more predictable and lower. Battery storage provides you with power even when the grid goes out.
